Two partners from Bulgaria and Portugal launched a small-scale project in April 2022.
We have united efforts in order to facilitate adults 55+ to search for new employment opportunities after COVID-19, or being redundant. Those people are either planning to qualify in new spheres, or share their expertise.
The Exchange Visit of the European project Enhancing Employment Opportunities for Adults 55+ took place from 20 to 26 June 2022 in Gondomar, Portugal. This is a project included in the Erasmus+ program and framed in a small collaborative partnership. We remind you that it is a project whose main objective is to increase the employability of adults over 55 who are unemployed and on the margins of the labor market or want to take steps towards self-employment, set up a business, including social; motivate and enable them to learn new social skills and strategies needed to increase their chances of (re)employment or explore the path of entrepreneurship; be resilient and adaptable in times of economic and employment uncertainty. In this Exchange visit, it was possible to highlight good practices implemented in the municipality of Gondomar.
We also remind you that from this project two final results are expected:

- An Interactive Toolkit for Trainers on Employability in Soft Skills for Adults 55+;
- An interactive Entrepreneurship Mentoring Toolkit for adults 55+.

The project has a duration of 18 months and is in the initial phase of its development.
